Is Arizona Really Hotter Than Hell?

Someone asked me today how it was in Arizona. Many people in Arizona don’t actually read thermometers, but rather resort to the three common measurements of temperature in Arizona:
1. Damn Hot. which is roughly 100-110, but often feels hotter. This is usally what visitors say
2. Hot as Hell. I think that’s about 115 or more, which is a pretty common summer occurrence, although not quite accurate due to the fact that hell is I am sure at least 750.
3. Hotter Than Hell. This is just plain wrong. It can’t be hotter than hell really. But it does make you think “if it’s this hot in Arizona…. I sure don’t want to go to hell.”
One thing I notice is that I don’t hear people telling others to “go to hell” in Arizona. Perhaps it because they soberly realize how hot that could be. I mean I don’t think Alaskans and Canadians have any concept of hell - well expect for the hell freezing over part, which if they knew hot how it was, they’d never say that.
Well, that’s got to be the most random post I have ever done… I just might need those meds after all.
Some Doctors Are CLUELESS about Depression

Today, I was talking to someone who was going through a tough time and was considering an anti-depressant. He knew what he needed and discussed it with his doctor. Sadly, the doctors reply was “you don’t look like a person who needs an anti-depressant”. When I heard this, I nearly wrecked my car. Is that guy serious? What is a depressed person supposed to look like? Homeless? Slumped Over? Glazed, Dazed, and Confused? My question for doctor “I can look at you and tell you what you need without assessing you” is “how many of your patients are sitting on the edge of their beds this moring looking at a gun or a bottle of pills becuase you have a licensed for something you are CLUELESS about?”
Why am I fired up? I have lost two very good friends to suicide. They were two of the most outgoing, seemingly happy people you could ever want to meet. Both of them would do anything for you - and neither of them looked depressed.
Folks, depression is serious. If you are struggling with depression call someone - anyone (you can always call 1-800-784-2433 (SUICIDE). I will be real with you, I have personally danced with the demon of depression and thanks to God, and some Xanax, Paxil, and Wellbutin (not all at once of course), I am well. My wife still questions whether or not I need some “seratonin support” every now and again, but after all, she is a licensed therapist.
In this day and age, we need to be educated consumers when it comes to our medical care because no one is paying doctors enough to care. Sadly, most of them aren’t going into medicine for the right reasons anymore and would make better gardeners than doctor. If you are a caring, competent, and compassionate doctor, then you won’t be offended by this - you will give me a “high five” or an “AMEN!”. If you are a doctor and you are offended - CHANGE!
(Dedicated to Rob & Mike, who went on to a better place far too soon - I miss you guys, the world has a void where you both once existed).
High Gas Prices Solved - With Water?

Yes, it’s true. When my wife first told me about what she had seen, I almost didn’t believe her. The YouTube video below shows the genius inventor who is now running his car on water. You have to see it to believe it. Even better, there are now companies that are selling the “kits” to convert your car to run on water. I certainly don’t suggest that anyone goes out and starts tinkering, because you are more likely to get into trouble (i.e. destroy your engine), but I do believe that more and more mechanics will at least try this on their own cars, and then perhaps we will see a trend of shops doing this if it works. Hmm, sounds like I am giving away the “next big thing.” Anyhow, check out the video below and make your own decision.
If you find a good mechanic who wants to give it a try, please let me know. I have a friend who owns a garage in Maryland and I am going to send this to him as well.
UPDATE: I was contacted by someone who said this is a scam. I have seen two sides of the coin, some say it’s impossible, and others say it’s 100% true. I am not a scientist, but if that video is fake, then it’s a good fake. I am also not linking to any resources that show you how to destroy (I mean modify) your engine so that no one can say I encouraged them to do it.
For the record, the company referenced in the video is Hydrogen Technology Applications.
